I had 2 goldfish called Wellington and Orinoco, named after the Wombles (child of the 70's...  "£$ )

I had two guinea pigs called Kyaw Kyaw Win (which is my own adopted Burmese name) and Mohinga (Burma's national dish, usually at breakfast). But my son didn't like them - he said all they do is sh1t everywhere. So they were dispatched to a friend in the country who had other guinea pigs and he renamed them Joe and Mo; they are, of course, no more but I suspect distant offspring of them are still around somewhere.  )() )()

Our cat Tasha has three names, the other two are Twizel and Psycho as she beats the dogs up for fun  (*( - Chyna (who is a  Rottweiler) sits on Tasha when she's had enough and Bruno runs away from her.

We have several names for our pets too.  Basil the cat is Basil Brush, Boris the cat is Boris the Bold (even though he is far from bold  ). Amber the Springer Spaniel is Amber Loo, and Jess the Cocker Spaniel is Jessica Anne.  Poor animals its a wonder they know who we are calling  .

Not my pet but one of my friends had this little rabbit called doofenschmertz. Our dog gets called schnorbitz quite a lot as well haha x

The funniest name wasn't actually my pet but I used to call a neighbour's dog Twinkle - I was young at the time  =+- and the dog used to walk to school and meet me when I left.  We call our budgies Fred and Barney as in the Flintstones characters ^%$

I was asked to adopt a little stray black cat. The kids who found him were calling him Ben, but I decided to adapt this. I normally call him Wedgie, but when he is a bit of a pain, I call him Anthony Wedgewood Benn in a disapproving Lady Bracknell tone. He ignores me either way! He has nearly succeeded in training me to be his devoted servant. I love him lots.

Lol typical Cat.  I have a plaque in my kitchen saying 'A Spoilt Rotten Cat Lives Here'.  That is so true for my 2 boys also my 2 girls - my dogs  =+-.

Missy squeak is the tortie cat, Oscar Malone is her brother and my dog is called Jack if he's good and Jack Russell if he's naughty.  Oh... and I had a Fantail cold water fish named Big Bessie!
