Hi Kit and welcome to the forum. It is difficult to find that your mojo has altered and talking to people who understand what that feels like is very helpful. If there are any particular aspects of your feelings you would like to talk about please feel free and we will help as much as we can.

These symptoms are quite universal and I think it is sensible for you to recognise the need for counselling and that ADs take time to kick in. Be kind to yourself whilst you are waiting to feel better and don't allow yourself to be forced into situations you don't feel ready for.

mmmm being kind to myself is something new to me. People in my life are telling me to think of myself instead of others but how do you change that when you have lived that way for years... oh i no i need help and am taking one day at a time.

Its really difficult to change the habits of a lifetime and even more difficult not to feel guilty about needing to rest but its essential to try in order to recover

Most of us hide it, the only reason one of my friends knew was I had my breakdown while she was there.

We all understand what its like so if you have any worries or questions there will almost certainly be someone that can help xx

Hi Kit, I am new here too, it seems like a really friendly place. I love your puma!

It sounds like you have a really good friend there. I would be tempted to take up her invitation next weekend.
