What are your strange dreams?
« on: October 06, 2011, 06:54:49 PM »
I dont know about any of you but iv always had very vivid and bizzare dreams. I can feel smell and taste in them.

I dream of water, flooding and tidal waves alot. Last night i dreamt that there was a muddy field i had to cross that had electric wires and the only way through the field was to go through the electric wires whilst having my feet on the ground. I ended up in a tower with a grand wooden broken stair case, thick red cable that looked like a vein ran up the walls. And the broken stairway kept threatening to break.

This was only the one i had last night iv had so many bizarre, scary and fantastic ones, but i thought id mention last nights.

So what are everyone elses dreams? Do you have vivid ones?

I have lots of weird dreams and I can feel, taste and see everything in very vivid colour.

Next time I have a particularly memorable one I'll let you know!

im never really too sure if im dreaming or things are real sometimes, its horrible.

let me assure you as an electrician that if there were live wires in a wet muddy field that it would be perfectly safe to walk through as long as you didnt break the connection between the wires and the ground.  its all about potential difference, as long as your at the same voltage as everything your touching then your perfectly safe,  ever noticed birds sitting on the live overhead lines,  its the same principal.   ive even gone to the extent of proveing this to some one by standing on a plastic box and then touching a live wire, your safe as long as theres no potential difference/ return path to earth
If you think things can't get worse it's probably only because you lack sufficient imagination.

Thanks Cornish il remember that next time i cross a muddy field full of electrical wires  ;D.

I do have waking dreams and im a terrible sleep walker. i think there are people in the room so i speak to them or follow them out of the room. At the time i think its perfectly normal to be speaking to a stranger in my bedroom at god knows what hour in the morning.

At the moment i keep wakign up in a panic and waking my boyfriend because of a translucent cloud. Yeah i know it sounds ridiculous but thats what i see. Of course its only a waking dream but it scares the crap out of me. Last time i literally tried to claw my way out of the headboard.

That hasn't happened for a few weeks thank god. Just weird dreams in general.

Dreamt last night that i was infiltrating a big office to get some information, and there was a big steel lift that went up and down really fast making me nauseous and my stomach go into my mouth. I got found out and was sneaking around so i wouldnt get caught.

Besides the horrible nightmares due to medication I've had a weird sequence of related dreams. For a couple of months I kept having dreams where I couldn't speak or scream when needed, I'd usually wake up crying and in a panic. But oddly the last few weeks in these dreams I'm now able to sing and it's beautiful, I wake up smiling *(*

I have quite a few dreams where I cant speak or scream, some that I'm trying to get away from something or someone and I get slower and slower and end up struggling to walk then struggle to crawl to get away, sometimes during a normal type dream I discover I am totally starkers  :o (last one I was on a busy railway station!), also when I'm depressed I have what I call 'angry' dreams where I am incandesent with rage about something or someone.

I do also have normal and nice dreams thankfully!

Yeah my dreams where I couldn't speak or scream involved trying to run away from something and not being able to before realising I couldn't speak either. I've had the angry dreams too, this rage just builds and builds. I guess it's from trying to bottle up everything.

I had a dream with horses in the other day, that was a nice change after my medications caused horrible nightmares. The one ripping out my own eyebrows until blood poured down my face has put me off plucking them!

I've always had quite vivid dreams but since being on quetiapine they have got more surreal.  I had one the other night about my friend (a guy) who recently had a baby and he was back to being pregnant, him! But instead of having the baby the normal way he had it called the "spiderbaby" way. This is where the baby grows in the neck of the man. It was completely messed up and really freaked me out.

Last night I had one about my cat who I took to Japan with me and he fell off a roof and then a plane exploded in the street. I've been with my cat since I woke up cuddling him lol.  ^&^

one night i found meself cleaning the windows inside a skyscraper or other large building when the fire alarm goes off. i wasn't worried, i knew the drill... i had to evacuate the patients from the mental health ward (!?!), but naturally we stopped at starbucks on our way out (used to work for 'bucks so that's perfectly normal). as we stood looking at the cakes a good friend of mine joined the que behind me and tried to get my attention, but i ignored her so she scooped the icing off a cinnemon swirl and poked me in the eye with it!

that one still brings a smile to me face whenever i think about it ;D
