A day out :)

I've been a member here for a while but rarely post.  I'd just like to share that on Friday i went out for the day in Somerset with MIND on their 'go wild, stay well' programme.  I don't normally get out so it was cool, i spent the day in a National Trust park working the land and then touring the area. 

I have another 9 sessions every Friday.  Looking forward to the next one  :)

Michael that sounds really great  :) The great outdoors (when we can get out there!) is such great therapy - beats any drug!!

You mention Somerset - are you under the care of Holly Court by any chance? (Dont answer if you feel you dont want to)

Munchroom - I'm aware that you're also in Somerset, but i'm unaware of Holly Court.  I live in Taunton but am from Leeds originally and rarely get beyond the town centre so don't really know the area.

Smirfy21 - I don't know where you live, but have you tried contacting MIND in your area? My GP practically kicked me through their door.  I'm finding them incredibly supportive and friendly  :)

Ah ok, Holly Court is in Yeovil - its the Somerset Mental Health Team, have been a great help to me but I guess it is quite a way from Taunton x
