Hi, first ever post
« on: April 20, 2011, 11:58:16 PM »
Hi all, don't know where to start. I'm 29, single and been depressed (unofficially) for almost 10 years now. Many reasons, mostly not having any luck with education, decent jobs, women. Would love to hear from single depressed women, as I hate feeling alone even though i'm used to it. I work part time at the moment. Also have to help look after my father whose not well. And at weekends I do a bit of babysitting for my nephews. I also 'suffer' from anxiety. Mostly anxious about rejection. Anyways take care folks.

Hi

I am 39 years of age and have suffered with depression now for over 5 years.  Just going through particularly bad spell.  I live with my mum and work full-time but have no interest in anything at the moment.  As you are also new to the site I wondered how you are getting on??  Do you ever have suicidal thoughts??

Hi, sorry to hear you're going through a bad patch, hope things work out. I get by somehow, even though on the inside I feel i'm running on empty. Listening to music I feel helps, as does watching TV (my favourite programmes are Midsomer Murders, Top Gear, The Simpsons, Place in The Sun to name a few). I won't commit suicide, although I do imagine what life would be like if I wasn't around - would people miss me etc. Strange thing is that's when I feel more relaxed. How about you, do you have suicidal thoughts?
