Hey everyone!
« on: April 15, 2011, 01:36:00 PM »
Hello!

I've just become a member to these boards, and am I the process of getting treatment for what my doctor classifies as depression; It's been happening quite steadily since 13 but recently has become more pronounced and measurable (I'm 19 currently); I realise alot of this is probably hormonal which is why I've never really attempted to look at it in any great depth, but it seems that things should by logic be getting better at this point rather than worse which is what finally pushed me to at least take a look and see if it's anything more than my age! There are several other oddities such as illusions (I understand hallucinations are images that people believe to be real, wheras i'm sure they're in my head for the most part, hence 'illusions') and possible paranoia/delusional thinking; of course I say that but would it ever really be possible to tell if I myself had it without outside opinion?

Anyway, apologies for  splurging but at least you know why I'm here now, I look forward to having a chat with many of you and I'll state here and now i'm just as up for helping others as having others help me out, though I'm not a heavy poster so don't be offended if I don't raise my voice much!

Hi Dragrat a warm welcome to the forum, unfortunatly when we are unwell it is difficult to post, but it is a great place to rant and help us all realise that we are not alone take care
Poor is the person who takes pleasure out of the persecution of others
