Hi karma and  !"£

I hope this forum helps you. People on here are very understanding - we're all struggling with similar issues and will try to help if we can. It is a bit quiet on here sometimes, but please don't give up  :)

All the best, bel

Hello. I'm new too! I, like you, find it hard to talk to people about depression as it's still a bit of a taboo. However, I have found that when I have been open about my illness, there are a lot more people than you think who know what you're talking about and have been there. The way I look at it, everyone has mental health as well as physical health and sometimes, our mental health suffers and there's not always a good explanation, just like with physical health. So nobody should be shying away from you just because you're not well at the moment.

Anyway, hope you find the support here and in your everyday life that you want to! Your GP should be signposting you to people you can talk to for support and advice and I hope you have found him or her helpful. S XXXX
