Hey there
« on: August 21, 2014, 06:48:40 PM »
Hi All,

I'm Patrick (25 years old), i have had depression on and off for 3 years or so. Tried a a few different AD, but the last thing i was on 200mg sertraline.
Back in May i moved away from my home town Not so Great Yarmouth to Harlow (as i work away in London most of the time so made sense)

Over the last few days i have barley any sleep but feel refreshed. Loads of ideas on what to do at work (ICT Technician)
i'm not sure how long this felling will last before i go into depression(its coming)

Apart from that, thats me.

Welcome to this forum Patrick. Here you can find people who sincerely listen to you and try to be of help through personal experience of depression!
I believe that by now with three years' experience of depression you have learnt how to recognize its symtoms and its comeback but it is always worth letting your practioner or pdoc know!

All the best for your busy job!

Welcome Patrick

Well done for making the move from somewhere that made you unhappy. That takes a lot of guts. Over the 3 years have you been able to recognise the signs of the depression onset? I hope this feeling will last for you.

This forum has been a fantastic place for me during my tough times. I hope you find it helpful. Everyone is here for you xxxx

Hi Patrick, welcome to the forums.
depression is a nasty beast that can strike at any time for any number of reasons, but knowing you are going to hit a downward patch is kinda a good advance warning.
gives you time to see your doc and get some meds that help.
