ecitlalopram withdrawal/ tapering
« on: August 28, 2013, 02:46:25 PM »
hi all,

I have been taking this drug since 2007 or so and want to come off of it, its a 5mg dose, the lowest one available.  The side-effects from the 10Mg's-5Mg's were horrendous, it went off after 3 weeks-1month, not sleeping , stomach cramp, palpitations, dizziness, confusion, much increased irritability, anxiety, feeling a strange electrical zapping effect, not sure what that was but it wasn't nice at all.

Also i am getting tired of having to go to the doctors surgery and going through the rigmarole of having to ask the med receptionist, waiting 2 days and then hopefully getting a replenishment.  Its fun if it falls over a bankholiday cos you can end up waiting 3 days without LOL . I don't recommend that to anybody.  They can give you an attitude sometimes as well, Wellll I didn't choose to be ill so whatever to that .

I want to move on with my life.  I used to get 2 boxes now 1 with an increased prescription cost on top. Happy days lol
