I am new and need someone to talk to

Hi everyone,

I am new to this site and never really done this before.  I have read some of the posts and feel like maybe there is another avenue to look at in regards to finding help with my depression.  I am running out of options on how to feel better and finally be rid of how bad im feeling - but will i ever be rid of these feelings........of hatred and worthlessness.....who knows i guess i need someone to talk to who understands what im going through!

I am also newish to this but wanted to say hang in there, this site has shown me that there are so many other people struggling to cope and there are good stories which come out of sharing your feelings.
Have you seeked professional help like going to see a doctor.
I find it difficult to share what's going on inside of me sometimes as it sounds so morbid and negative but deep down I know that it's the only way one is ever going to get some release and help.
I hope that you find a way to feel better about yourself and your life.

Hi alone,

Thank you for your message!  I have spoken to my doctor and have been seeing a therapist for a while now but feel like I have hit a brick wall!!  I want to feel better I do and there are moments in my day where I feel ok bu at the moment the bad out weigh the good.  I am so tired and bored with life that I think there is no point and feel like giving up.

On the up side things that have made me smile over the past week is: 1) check out 3 year old drummer on you tube - he is soooo cute and anamazing drummer for his age! 2) go to the site itmademyday.com - this is a site full of little moments which i hope will make you smile and laugh.  Some of the stories make me laugh out loud which is a rare occassion for me!
