I'm in the mist trying to wade myself through the feelings of hopelessness and the deepest

Hi there LLJ,I too am feeling isolated,whilst having a depressive episode i tend to shut myself off from everyone,i always get caught up in this negative mind chatter "Im never going to be well" "what is wrong with me" why am i so weak" "what has started this episode" it's a horrible place to be,all i can say is it will pass,you are not alone,try & let it be,even though it's scary,it's your black dog & it will pass. Im a newbie on this site,but have suffered depression on & off for many years,give me a shout,when ever you want,take care marlon

Hi LLJ. I hope that you are still with us.  I have worked hard at isolating myself, but the kind, caring people on this site have helped me, by keeping me in touch with the human race. I'm sure that they can offer you the same support if you post. We certainly understand the feelings of guilt and hopelessness, which we all seem to have experienced at various times. A great thing about this site is that people share their thoughts and feelings without ever judging each other.  Best wishes. Michael.
