Lithium
« on: December 20, 2012, 08:13:04 PM »
Over the last few weeks I have felt on edge, restless, short tempered (I yelled at an old lady in the street today), I have a racing mind too.  All these feelings are horrible as I have felt low as well.  Anyway I had a blood test last week for lithium and other stuff, and earlier today my GP's secretary  rang me up to say my lithium level was low 0.33 and I should contact the mental health clinic.  Why they couldn't I will never know, but I rang my CPNs, they weren't there so I left a message,  Heard nothing so will try again in the morning.  I think an increase may help some of the symptoms as I am getting worried I may lose control too quickly.  I did take the lithium 12 hours before the test to the nearest 5 minutes so that part is right.  Everyone is noticing I am getting angry quickly.

I do hope they get back to you so you can get this sorted.
