Yes, electric shock SENSATIONS are very common and are considered to be a withdrawal from AD's. They can occur with mild to severe dizziness, but usually only lasts seconds at a time, although they do usually come in rapid succession.
When I used to take only AD's, I'd forget quite a lot. The reminder would come the next afternoon around 4pm, in the form of these little electric shocks travelling from the head to the finger tips and toes. It's over in an instant but can re-occur at 1 to 10 min intervals.
When I mentioned this to my GP, he didn't know what I was talking about. Then I watched a documentary about Seroxat (which I was on) People were reporting similar sensations to varying degrees. Since then I've met one doctor who hadn't heard of it and two more who recognise it as AD withdrawal. I imagine it has something to do with the central nervous system
I also pick up a lot of static, more so when I'm distressed. If I stroke the cat while he's sitting on a nylon cushion cover, we both get a little shock, it just happened tonight. I imagine what material and shoes you wear will make a difference
