Hello from the deep southwest

Just joined and will spend some time looking around.... I have suffered recurrent depression for many years.....I have been very stable for quite a few years but the "black dog"has crept on me again.... I have had 2 recent suicide attempts so I am now on medication....I'm also awaiting counseling which will probably be after Christmas..... I now live alone which is a first for me in all my 58 years.....I am a great believer in peer support....anyway pleased to meet you all...
