Hi....I've just joined and hope to get to know you.

I live in Upstate New York, on Lake Ontario. I live alone, with my birds (parrots and a finch). I'm a vegetarian, and do volunteer work at the zoo here, where I'm a docent.  I like to read, listen to classical music and watch old movies.

I've lived with depression since I was a young child. I take meds and use coping skills. Still, some days are really hard.
