I know, it feels like it's forever but again, that's the illness talking. When we are out of the woods we are fine and don't think much about it (I sure don't!!).
Pharmaceutical companies are spending millions to find better medications / faster antidepressants.
Recent trials with Ketamin show that heavily suicidal patients can recover in 4 hours after a ketamin intravenous injection!!
My friend who was profoundly death from birth had an operation and he can now hear.
We are living through amazing medical advancements, let's not give up hope, they will find us even better treatments soon I am sure xx

I too have recurrent depression BB but in the past CBT has really helped me have much longer well periods and also it has helped make the episodes last less and be less "painful".
Have you had CBT?

is your therapist good?
Mine was really, really good. Never thought CBT would work but it did for me! Maybe you need to try some of the CBT books exercises?

My therapist has done some good but I feel trapped in my other issues , and the things she suggest can't fix it. I feel like someone feels they have the answers but it's not that simple !

I understand that, when I had CBT, I could see how I was suppose to be thinking but that didn't touch the problems locked inside. xxx

Just changing how I think isn't going to help , I'm trapped , and I'm working in a negative environment , it's so hard to change that and it brings me down too going to work x

Just a thought, Have you spoke to your gp, (or a different one), some Antidepressants are more energising than others.  xxx
