Prothiaden
« on: September 05, 2012, 08:07:45 AM »
Does anyone use this anymore? I had it twice when I was younger and it was excellent....better than Citalopram which I' on now but if I ask about it, my doctor just says it's not as effective as SSRIs but I disagree. I guess it's just the overdose risk?

BUT...........I had Amitryptiline when I was pregnant and it worked and my baby was fine (thank God!!!) .

Is anyone on Prothiaden anymore?

I still take it but a few years back they changed the chemical name to Dosulepin. Just to confuse matters the branded name Prothiaden hasn't changed. Anything you want to know about it just ask.
