« on: June 18, 2012, 10:28:10 AM »
do many avoid situations as u know it could set off depression eg busy shops or areas or noisy places??? as irritation and annoyance seems to trigger depression in me a lot and find it easier to avoid the above if you find the above effects you as well how do u cope eg not let down feelings set in???

Zee, my down periods usually always start by feeling irritated. I'll probably have a full day having a go at absolutely everything and everybody and then the next day I wake with that awful feeling in the pit of my tummy......the depression's back and it can stay from anything from one day to a fortnight.

I certainly do, but the way I try and deal with it is to think in so many minutes/hours it will be over and I will be back home and safe.
