Morning all,

I find it very hard / embarasing to talk about my depression and anxiety problems.  I am a very private family man and find it very difficuly to talk to my family and friends about my illness. I feel that no-one around me understands or cares. By posting on this forum I am hoping to meet like-minded people who can discuss their illnesses with compassion and understanding.

Thank you for reading.

Jester....Hi and welcome!  I think most of us have difficulty discussing our depression with others, especially those closest.  Hope you start to find it easy to share on this forum...it's a great place to off load

Hi jester, im new here too and the support ive got so far as been amazing. Just knowing people are taking the time to read what you say and genuinley care.

feel free to vent your feeling, how ever deep or dark. Personally speaking I've been though some really horrific times and hopefully our experiences can help you in some ways. Some times its comforting to know someone knows your pain.

sending you strengh and positive energy and a little friendly hug to help you.
