Decidedly cold today but not too wet after heavy overnight rain

Pouring down again here . It was our town carnival today.  Went down with mum to watch the floats. Stayed dry for them thankgoodness. But the events on the recreation ground have been cancelled due to health and safety . Such a shame as so much work goes into it over the year. Its just getting ridiculous how much rain we are getting. S x x x x

I know, its so unfair for all these events that are having to be cancelled, I honestly dont think I can ever remember such a wet summer, we are getting quite concerned about the price and/or availability of hay this year because unless there is at least a fortnight of decent weather the farmers cant cut and bale it

Of course. The weather affects so many things. We were talking about the farmers earlier. S x x x x. Oh and its still raining here .

Oh that would be great. We have the lights on here . Doing my ironing in between posting on here and hate doing it in half light. All my plants are swimming in water, poor things. Cats are miserable as they like to go out this time of day. So they are looking decidedly humpy (cats seem to be good at that ). The sky still looks full of rain, dark grey and yucky. S x x x x

Oh good. Need to clean the chickens out so will make that easier. I dare not look at the weather as its never good at the moment x x
