Trapped

Due to company (mis)management they decided to relocate me and my job from where I was the happiest I've ever been to an office where I feel the exact opposite, working with people I couldn't care less about in a dead end job that no longer holds the slightest challenge.  All so different from this time last year .  Problem is I'm 55 and applying for another job is hopeless - no-one wants to know.  I feel trapped in a loathsome job for the next 10 years until retirement beckons.  Help!
