i haven't been to the doctors but im pretty sure im depressed. my life is a mess, i found out my boyfriend was havign an affair but now he wants to be with me and i dont know whether im doing the right thing by being with him again for the right reasons or whether im too chicken to leave. today i have started to think that id like to disappear, this moring i thought about suicide but im too weak to go through it. my life is a mess and i wish i could lock myself away from everyone, just find a remote place where i can be alone. i told my boyfriend i felt low and he has said nothing. not too sure what to do, i though writing on here might make me feel better...............not sure...

Hello Katee and welcome to the forum.  Maybe its worth making an appointment with your gp and having a chat with him/her about how you are feeling.  Please feel free to browse the forum and join in when you feel you can.  We all understand these feelings and will help you where we can.

Get to your GP - there is nothing wrong with talking to him or her about how you're feeling.  You will get support here as well as it does help to share with others who understand.

welcome :)
Im new to this forum as well,

Its easy to talk away on here, and get feelings out etc, and people read, reply and understand. or that is what it seems from reading around anyway.

Accepting your feelings is one step but asking for a help is another step that often people find hard to do while not accepting properly that there is something actually up.
Like others,  I do suggest a trip to the doctors, whats the worst it can do? if anything comes out of it, atleast youve had a little face to face talk about how your feeling, which can sometimes help too..

Welcome to the forum.

I would agree with the advice given here - speak to your gp if you can. Once you have got support you can look at the situation and make a decision on what to do, but get the support first.

Hi Katee and welcome. This forum is really supportive

I can only repeat what the others have said, go and see your gp, there's no shame in admitting you're finding it hard to cope with what life is throwing at you

Hi and welcome, I would also say you need to go to your GP if you possibly can xx
