The great thing about hitting rock bottom is?

the great thing about hitting rock bottom is that you have knowhere to go but up. In your experiance what is the best thing about hitting rock bottom?

thats a great song, I have been watching feel good films and listening to feel good music all weekend in the hopes that I will make things easier. I have well and truly hit rock bottom, I feel like I could walk inbetween lanes of traffic and just not care and I hate it, I hate that feeling that you just can't sink any lower. The good thing is that the only way is up so I will try and keep that song in mind.

It really is the most horrible feeling smirfy and I've been there several times myself :(

I can only tell you that eventually it is possible to feel better although its a long and tough process &*(

It has put me in line with all other members of the world. By this I mean, if you are lying smashed out of your face in a park, you have lost your friends and all of yourself respect, then we are no different.

Thats the only plus I can see...it allows me to sympathise with others. Unfortuantly, my rock bottoms arnt just depression, it is psychomotor agitation, emotonal disregulation and intense boozing.

I have come to realise that I can sink a lot further down and what I originally thought was rock bottom is kind of middle ground.
Stevie I have seen that happen to a family member and it is bloddy hard but I have never got that far and cannot begin to imagine how it must feel.

It is deeply humiliating to say the least, and something I have not yet recovered from.

People hate me for it. Wish I could turn back the clocks.

On top of being  nuts in the first place, it leaves you with the major task of having to adjust and it is one big mess.

I will stand up for anyone who has lost their self esteem in this way.
