Hiya.
Welcome to the forum.

I can undestand how you feel. When I was first diagnosed, I looked back on my life and being diagnosed with depression explained alot of things in my life.

The best way to look at it is that you have now been diagnosed, so something can be done about it.
Visiting your doctor is the first step, and if you feel like you are not getting any pregress there, then change to another GP.
You can also contact your local CAB as they will be able to assist and advise you in the likes of financial aspect of your life.

Speak to your doc first tho, and suggest councilling. I was really surprised that it worked so well for me.
You can go along to a few sessions, and if you don't have any joy, then you've really not lost anything except a couple of hours where you can speak to someone in confidence about how you are feeling

And there is also us lot on the forum :)

take care
x

Harmful intentions
particularly those involving deliberate acts exploitation, seem to cause longer-lasting and more painful emotional consequences than natural disasters. The crucial factor may be that such experiences destroys people’s trust in others, particularly if they involve someone you have depended on.
