Counselling
« on: January 09, 2012, 07:23:48 PM »
I now have a date for counselling, next Monday with MIND.  Hopefully it will help. Have done anxiety courses with them when I had my last episode.   Always found them so nice and helpful.  So fingers crossed.

Also have a follow up dr's appointment tomorrow, which he asked me to make to see how I have been doing.  Its at 9am so hopefully he will not be running late, as I hate waiting to go in.

Thanx guys.

Hope you manage to get your gp's appointment tomorrow Ice Lolly.

Hi Holykimura, its £35 per session and I think its for 12 weeks.  If you are on benefit its £15.  But I think both costs can be reassessed if the cost is to high.

Its worth giving them a call Holykimura, I have found all the people I have dealt with at MIND to be lovely and very easy to talk to.

Got on ok at Dr's, got in a panic in the waiting room, he was running about 20 mins late, I hate the dr's at the best of times.  He seemed quite pleased with my progress, was pleasantly surprised that I had not taken many of the Clonazipam, only taking half at night now.  He wants to see me in a months time unless I need to see him before.

Did ask him if it was ok to take half a Clonazipam on next Wednesday morning as I have to go into hospital for spinal block injections (I have big problems with a lower disc in my back, actually its just about gone!  So I have a lot of pain) I have to have a light general anesthetic as I have to be still for the surgeon to make sure the injections go into the nerves either side of the vertebrae.  I am terrified as I have only been in hospital to have my 3 sons and only had gas and air and was home next day.  Anyway he said it would be ok to take as long as I tell them what I have taken.

Managed work for 3 hours today, which I am proud of.  Off to walk the dogs in a bit.  Then I must rest.
