thanks all this does seem to be a very friendly place. I made it through the day at work but only as i didnt have to work with anyone. im finding it easier to cope if i dont have many around me.

at least you made it through the day! i find it easier if people at work don't ask me how i am or anything to do with me or my life. Would rather listen, i think people would get fed up with me or think i'm crazy or run away if i told them how i really feel. Tomorrows another day ;D

I know its frustrating, but time really is a key factor.

Im fairly new to this place too and I already feel so welcome here. Writing down my feelings and trying to help with others seems to pick me up a little. I too feel that my mind keeps working away with questions and irrational fears all the time, mostly topped off with "when will I feel better?" and "why do i feel so useless right now?" I keep reminding myself of some of the good advice I have recieved on here: Take time to rest, take things slowly and try to focus on the good things in your life.

I hope you are soon feeling better, but when you are feeling a little low we will be here to talk if you need to.  :)
Crazy like a fish.

hi kit do you have any hobbies or interests? that might help you feel better. i recently took up horse riding something i thought i would never do, never had an interest in either. although it isn't the be all and end all in terms of feeling better i have enjoyed it and it has given me something else in my life other than just work, work and work, in between that housework! i dont get overly excited or enthused about going but i do enjoy it and have really liked being around the horses, grooming them etc...
also i have just brought an acoustic guitar and am teaching myself how to play - i used to play an instrument at school and thought i might like trying to play an instrument again. will do/try anything to help myself get better so fingers crossed! :)
