Blood donation
« on: June 23, 2015, 08:23:47 PM »
Want to help up to 3 people and potentially literally save lives?

Please consider donating some of your blood regularly on my behalf?  I'm not allowed to donate, but you can donate on my behalf if you want to?  Please?

If you're squeamish you aren't alone and if you're on meds for your depression that's OK too... just call the blood donation helpline on 0300 123 23 23 and they will be able to answer your questions and put your mind at rest.

It's free and so worthwhile... you will be helping people and saving lives if you do it!

Totally up to you of course, it's just something I'm feeling passionate about atm!

May your life be as pleasant as you are.

When I worked for the civil service I donated blood every 6 months, had a few years break then donated a few more times.  I have A Rh- so I was very popular.  I have been thinking about giving blood again but want to make sure I can again.

Have a chat with the bods on the helpline?  I've got no idea what A Rh- is other than it's a type of blood... is it the rare one or something?  Feel free to tell me to get knotted if you want to!   ^-^
