Hello everyone!

As the subject line says, I'm your newest newbie so please be gentle with me while I find my feet!

I'm Amanda, 37, with Psychotic Depression and several physical illnesses too!

I'm a Heathen and spotted the Pagan/Heathen bit on here yesterday... I'm with a UK Pagan forum, am I allowed to put the URL in that part of the forum please?  If I need to send the URL to an Admin or Mod first, just say the word and I'll do it   

I've got a husband, Steve, and we're owned by a rescued Westie that we rehomed from the Dog's Trust back in 2010 after my dad died of cancer.

I'm a self-published children's author looking for a friendly agent to hold my hand in the publishing world... it's my biggest hobby and keeps me sane! If I seem to disappear throughout November, I'm safe, I'm just taking part in NaNo!

Yes you can put the link onto the forum.  I'm sorry I didn't respond yesterday as my life my life has been chaotic for about 4 weeks but it will be calming down next week.  With URLs the policy is if you're unsure pm one of the admin and moderators or ask publically.

Hi Amanda, welcome to the forums.
We are always gentle to our members, old or new.
Finding an agent for a unknown author might be a hard task,
I would suggest googling child book publishers, and send out a few letters / emails , or even phone them.

I have always been rejected because I wasn't published when I emailed them, but I am now, so hopefully getting an agent will be a bit easier now  :)
