Hi there, new couple of days ago

Hi there. I'm new, and just noticed this new member area. My name is Becky & I have suffered with depression since starting a counselling concepts course a few years ago, or maybe longer but just not been aware of it. I have an African grey parrot who is my baby & i love him so much. He is an amazing little guy & so clever.

I would like to read & write & learn more ways of coping with depression & hope to live a happy life one day. Right now I am very unhappy, lonely, grieving & lost.

Your parrot is so cute! I was new here a few days ago to, and Pips right every about people being nice and supportive. It's what I like.

Animals are so good with us when we're depressed, I have two cats (one of whom is in my profile pic) and when I feel down they snuggle up with me and try and make me feel better. Does your parrot do anything that makes you feel better?
