The Trailing Begonia's are my favourite, as are all the different kinds of Geranium... so easy to keep.    This must be the worst year for plants... veg aint such a bad idea Zaf.  Quite fancy putting together a wee allotment but not in filthy rat infested London.... maybe in when I return Scotland

Not a great year for geraniums either.  I have them every year, but its just been to wet this year for them. Also my fushias are only now just flowering and its August!  No thunder for us today thank goodness :). S x x x x

Everything seems very late this year, my squash plants have only just flowered so I doubt if I'll get anything worthwhile from them this year

Yes, Shaz, was just thinking how poorly the geraniums look, 'peely wally' (pale) as we'd say in Glasgow

24oC today and apparently climbing.  Love it like this, not so tolerant above.

Can't understand why I've had another failed attempt at growing Lobelia in a pot.  One died, the other is looking healthy but still no flowers.  Anyone know if they prefer sun or shade?

 Hi Cat, I grew our Lobelia from seed this year and most of them are in full sun, I have them out the back and front of the house, so all of them get varying amounts of sun.

After a mamoth thunderstorm at lunchtime I'm now sitting on the patio in the sunshine :)

So much for plannng to take Tinka out for a drive this evening, we have a mega thunderstorm overhead with some of the biggest raindrops I've seen for years
