Hi ! I'm a newbie saying hello just diagnosed

Hello, I've been diagnosed with moderate depression and have been on Citalopram two weeks now and already feeling a little better. I had been putting off going to doc for over a year blaming my age and peri menopause but my every day life was being affected so I am glad I went and feel more positive now diagnosed.

Glad the Citalopram is starting to kick in. I hope it continues until you reach full recovery.

Hi Luluh, good choice to go to the doc, what did they start you on, 20mg? they can take citalopram up to 40 mg, but if you are starting to feel better on the dose your on, they will probably keep it there for a while at least, another good one is sertraline.
