I need to lose weight but gave up trying to years ago as I end up putting more on than I lose.  As for making resolutions I stopped making them years ago,

I need to lose weight too.  In 3-4mth I gained 2stone.  I blame the Mirtazapine....nothing to do with the cakes and chocolate.

I can't be bothered with the new year resolutions but it can be a starting point for some challenging changes

I also concur mirtazapine is to blame for me putting weight back on after I lost it.

That's why I opted for Trazodone instead of Mirtazapine.

Me too, need to lose weight. Every time I go on a diet it's a hard slog, and end up losing but then putting back on what I lost and more :(

I think now ill try to make little but permanent changes. Have lower fat treats in the house, try to eat regular meals, smaller portions etc.

I definitely need to lose weight. I feel like since having depression I have just put weight on through overeating, not eating at all and becoming really lazy. I can't use it as an excuse really but I am feeling sad so I am going to. Xxx

To be more positive, not lose my temper, keep busy with work and uni and get plenty of sleep.

I really want 2013 to be a better year!

Rick blames everything except for the cake, sweets, biscuits, chocolate  "!+ .....

I've actually started easing myself into a diet now that the junk food has gone by eating salad or veg with meals and cutting down on meal sizes and replacing junk food with fruit.  This year I made a point of not getting many treats in for the silly season as Rick doesn't know when to stop eating cake, sweets, biscuits, chocolate  "!+ and I find it hard to resist crisps and Twiglets.

I also need to lose weight, but I have for years and I notice now that as I get older the reasons have changed.  When I was younger I wanted to be slim and attractive now I want to be slim, healthy (and attractive!)

If I made any resolution it would be what I am always striving for, to be the person I would like to be, more patient with my elderly mother, better housekeeper and generally someone I can respect and love.

Wish me luck.
