Title: Anorexic woman to be force fed

What are other peoples viewpoints on this?

I think its a very difficult one and that it raises a lot of issues. No-one wants this woman to die, but at the same time does she not deserve to be treated with respect and dignity?! She is, according to the article, an intelligent woman, she knows what is going to happen if she does not eat. She has suffered with this condition for 21 years, surely she has the right to some peace and dignity - I can only imagine how damaging being force fed will be to her.

I think its very difficult too, I'm glad I didnt have to make the decision as I can see both points of view :(

I was watching an item this on 'This Morning' , they were talking about the pro's and con's. This is very difficult. The poor woman in my view has made up her mind to die. What they were saying is that force feeding is painful, also that her body has probably been damaged already. S x x x x
