Ooh fantastic! I wish my clematis looked like that, one of them had clematis wilt last year and nearly bit the dust.

Whats the second picture of? I could do with a nice plant like that.

Thanks all my clematis do well in our garden. I have more this year so will take pics when they come out.

The second pic is a honeysuckle, we never cut it and it goes mad each year, now starting to flower this year.

Wow! fantastic looking for a honeysuckle........ we used to have one that grew through the fence from next door, but when the new neighbours moved in they ripped it all out (just as well cos the ivy had reached our gutters)

Lovely pics  ;D

I'm not happy as I went out out this afternoon to collect my prescription to find our miniature roses, heathers and other flowers gone.  We're not sure if the council have done it or our next door neighbour.  Everybody who lives in our street are elderly except us and one set of immediate neighbours and we got our bungalows on medical grounds.  The council takes care of mowing our gardens.  However our neighbour also does his bit from choice to mow the front gardens either side of his bungalow.  We've had a bit of a problem with him in the past as he has right of way through our garden which means when he mows out the front he goes through our garden.  Last year he upturned a large flower pot and destroyed the plants in it 'because it was in his way' yet it was right next to the step by our back door so he had to go round it anyway so there was no need for it.  He also cut our washing line.  His wife was furious with him which is the only reason we didn't fall out with them.

I know it was my neighour for definite now.  We have a recycling bin, a green bag for glass and a bin for any other rubbish.  I put some rubbish in the recycling bin and one of the heather plants was in that so I have been able to save it.  I think I can save one of the miniature roses as well.  What annoys me as much as anything is this neighbour is bi-polar and uses that as an excuse for his behaviour.  No matter how depressed I get I never do anything like that and I have done some stupid things in my life when my mood has been low   "£$

What a strange thing for him to do.  I do hope you can save the plants.

It really is so dreadfully mean, my plants mean a lot to me and it would upset me dreadfully too, I was in tears when I discovered a 'neighbour' had cut down a little elder tree inside our property last week  :'(

lovely pics, I am unsuccessful with clematis but have replanted one and it is greening up already now so am hopeful it'll grow this year. Gardeners world this week said much mulch needed so I'll add some and also something to keep the water below it like manure or straw even.. haven't done that but it's got it's 'feet in the shade' now as they say they like that.
