Prozac

I've just been prescribed Prozac and I'm anxious about taking it, any thoughts?

It worked well for me with no side effects but it eventually lost its effectiveness

I felt awful (sicky) for 2-4 weeks then a lot lot better

I tried briefly many years ago... didn't like.  Everyone responds differently.  They are worth trying if you've been depressed and finding it difficult to pick yourself up.

Just stick with it, like I said it did make me feel sick for a while and I think that's quite common.

I started on Prozac last week, I cant say ive noticed any difference in how I feel, but have had some minor side effects, extreme tiredness, nausea, headaches etc but im gonna hang in there for a bit with them first, glad youre feeling better :-) x

I have been on Prozac since May, it has helped me sleep, but the last few days I have been feeling very down and don't feel like doing anything.

Hopefully will feel slightly better soon, got GP appointment in a couple of weeks.

That's really great news.  It just demonstrates how we all react differently to AD's.  Pleased you're sticking around
