I smoke and I know I shouldnt but I get racing heart sometimes after smoking. I started 4 months ago when me and my ex split up and I was very stressed. I keep saying I will quit again when the worst is over. Maybe I should now if its making my anxiety worse

Yes mate. Good idea. Smoking can stimulate adrenaline. It wont be helping your stress levels by anymeans.

trying to quit today. my heart doesnt seem to be racing as much

quitting sounds like a grand idea (but I'm biased as my mum passed away from lung cancer).
It's great that your anxiety levels seem lower today :)

I finally quit and my heart rate has gone down. I do love a smoke but I cant deal with all that adrenaline anymore. It wasnt relaxing me

seems to have helped with my sleeping as well, now getting up at around 8am instead of 5-6am
