Just got back from spending nearly (as in less than 15 minutes difference) 6 hours with Steve's family.  That's longer than we spent with my mum last time we went over there in 2010.  Just need to spend another 3 hours with Steve's family this week and he'll have seen his family more in less than a week than I have seen my mum in 8 YEARS!!!

He promised me on our way back from the funeral that we'd go over and see her regularly now that she's on her own.

I've seen her once since he made that promise 8 years ago.

I don't call that regularly by any stretch of the imagination!!

I give up.

I really do.

Spent 2 hours with his sister on Monday takes it up to 8 hours then we'll be spending at least another 4 hours with his family on Monday to have our hair cut takes it to 12 hours then another 2 with his sister on Monday evening.

That's 14 hours in 3 2 weeks.  More than we've spent with my mum in 8 YEARS!!!

Hardly fair, is it?  So much for going over to see her regularly!
