Duloxetine & mirtazapine combo help
« on: May 04, 2017, 02:42:51 PM »
Hi,
Am on third new anti d for depression after venlafaxine ceased being effective. Am now on Duloxetine 120mg, was on 60mg. Not touched it really so have been told to add in mirtazapine.
Has anyone had this combo & found it effective?
No horror stories please. Just positive ones. Too stressed for horror stories.
Thanks

I've never taken either... who prescribed them though?  Your GP or a Psychiatrist or someone else?  Have you ever had your vitamin levels tested?  It's just that my vitamin B12 levels were through the floor when I got tested and the very first injection made a huge difference so I constantly have a vitamin B12 oral spray with me so that I can up my levels when I feel them dropping... works within seconds and is available on Amazon... couldn't be without it now!

How long have you been taking the Duloxetine and Mirtazapine?  It's just that some AD's take 6 weeks or more until you notice even the slightest change.  It can take even longer to find the right meds for you too... unfortunately depression isn't a quick to fix illness   :( :signs003:

You aren't alone in this, Marinamumma!
