PIP
« on: August 13, 2014, 06:44:55 PM »
I applied for PIP last October, had the medical assessment on the 13th June and finally got a letter about it today.  As I didn't get DLA I wasn't expecting to get PIP either but was shocked to find out I will be getting PIP  :cheerleader:

Though I don't know what it involves I gather it is a benefit ...... good for you Pip after all the hassle you've through to go to appointments!

Yes it is a benefit and at the enhanced rate plus I am getting the mobility benefit.  We decided to get a car on lease which means my mobility payments will pay for that and it also covers insurance.  I am entitled to a free tax disc and a blue badge which means I can park in disabled bays.
