Hi all

I'm Louise, I suffer with depression and anxiety and panic attacks. I came and joined up as I would like to chat to and maybe get some advice/support etc.

I have suffered for many years now and at the moment I'm going through a transition with my meds.

Usually I am a outgoing, bubbly person who loves nothing but a good laugh and to socialise. But when this hits me or gets worse or shifts to another feeling or condition I'm a shell of the person I love.

So, that's just a bit about me.

Hi Louise, welcome to the forum.

I don't tend to offer advice as I am terrible at following my own advice and other people here are far better at it than I am. You will find people here to be very friendly and supportive so I hope posting here will help, particularly through the transition period with your meds but also whenever you would like a chat.

Best Wishes...JC

Hi Louise, welcome to the forums.

going throug the transition stage from one med to another can be quite uncomfortable for some, how long depends on the individual person as two are never exactly the same.

but as JC and Alex have said, we try to be supportive, and if you have any questions about the side effects of meds, then ask on here, as im sure you will find a few who are on the same meds.

 :welcome: Louise,

It is horrible going through the bad patches.  Hopefully your medication will settle and start working for you.  You will get support here  though as we have first hand experience of depression.
