Just been reading through this thread again ~ will read the link again tomorrow when I have more concentration and will watch the video.  The link made me think about co-dependency which was a topic for 'conversation' on another forum I belonged to a few years ago.  Too tired to search round for the best article but have just read this one http://www.psychologistanywhereanytime.com/relationships_psychologist/psychologist_codependency.htm
