Please check your profiles are set for notifications and profile pics etc.

I think everything's okay.  Just under my profile info/show stats, it says I am online all through the night but not during the day or early evening.  I guess it's showing opposite times to when I am actually on the Forum.

Also Pip...  =+- I've just noticed the majority of my "additional smiley's" aren't working

Are you talking about ones you've uploaded yourself as I have clicked on [more] and those work okay.

Pip, I am having trouble as well, when I press 'more' many are just squares and I cannot see what they are.  I have the first line of smilies and the cats but not any of the others. Also my avatar has gone.

I've managed to get my avatar back ( I did toy with a Bart Simpson mooning, but I'll save that for another Day.) I can't seem to find ANY smileys. It is quite possible that I am doing something wrong, because I'm trying to get used to Windows 8 as well. Best wishes. Michael.

Slightly different, but I'm being a bit dim, when you look at the information centre are something's bold & big print? If so what does it mean?

Me again. As I am typing this, there is the (more) link in cyan, but this just takes me to a few basic Smileys. I have also noticed that my hugs etc in previous messages no longer show up as animated doodahs, but just show as the text equivalent. I will just click on the icons at either end of those listed when clicking the link. Hope that this helps in some way.  $%^

Pip - no, the the additional smileys on the forum aren't working.

Michael, I also recently bought windows 8 computer, it takes a bit of getting used too.  I barely use the window tiles, mainly by pass it and just use the old familiar window desktop function.  I think there is a Windows 8 for Dummies.

Last time I tried to send a message, the dropping acid and wide arms hug were available. I don't know if you have been working on it, but SOMETHING is changing.  "£$  *()

I think I must be going crackers, but in my recent post section some posts are bold and in a bigger font than the others. Anyone else notice this ?????????
