Hello

Hello to you all, my name is P I have recently broke up with my partner of 12 years and I'm feeling low. I have been trying to work through this alone , but I know I can't. I've been to see my doctor who has prescribed meds, and counselling but I don't feel like they help. I feel that I'm a burden to family and friends so I've joined here hoping for some extra support from the wonderful members on this site.

Awright Pablo.  Relationship break-ups can often be heart-wrenching.   

Everyone here will relate to what you wrote.

Sometimes the anti-depressants can take a little while before they start to have any real benefit.  Sometimes we need to try a couple before finding one that suits.  How long have you been using them?
