A good recipe for using up odd bits in your fridge or cupboards.

2/3 sausages cut into 3 sections. Per Person.
Bacon rashers  as much as you have left in the packet , cut into sections.
1 Onion finely chopped
Spaghetti  sauce, any brand, ( Ragu is the one it works best with , or any tomato based sauce, without minced beef in it )
1 can baked beans.

Add chopped onion to pan, and fry gently for a minute or two,
Add bacon and Sausages, fry until bacon is cooked, and Sausages beginning to brown,
Add Spaghetti Sauce and Baked beans.
Stir all ingredients together,

Simmer gently for 20 mins, stirring occasionally.

You can add dried pasta to this to bulk it out, or once cooked pour over a baked Potato.
Good cheap food. And only one pan to wash up afterwards.
A good soul is one that has suffered , and is kind.

Mmm...that does sound lovely.  One of my favourite is sausage casserole, much the same idea.  There is an especially nice sausage casserole dry powder sauce, which I mix with tin of tomatoes rather than the water.  Mushrooms are a must
