Ghosts/The Paranormal
« on: January 03, 2012, 10:35:35 PM »
Anyone else interested in ghosts or the paranormal? I've been interested in it for a while now, (too scared to stay in a haunted house on my own though!). I  wanted to know what others think.

A very open mind but not sure, my mum's old farmhouse has had a few very odd things happen in it and we know someone committed suicide in there before my parents bought it   :-\

I've had a few odd things happen. I used to live above a church and that was pretty creepy - then I moved into a house to do some nannying and I got a definite sense that 'something' didnt want me there. I had the top floor to myself and things would move about/go missing - one night I had a very vivid 'dream' of two black figures stood over the bed watching me sleep.

I work in a very old building and there have been numerous sighting of different things, although I've never seen anything. I do sometimes get the feeling I'm being watched or liek some prescence is around me though.
This too shall pass.

I'm on the fence about it really, i havent had like..really big experiences.
Only things like feeling a presence or like some one rushing past, eg. Cold breeze or chills when theres been no wind or draft.
But i still insist its the wind haha, though i have heard noises which were..kind of weird.
I dunno, my inner skeptic questions everything ;-;

Though i do think there is something, i'm fascinated about the whole thing lol.

I find it interesting.  My grandad worked at Belvoir Castle that had it's resident ghosts but I never saw any.

One night my friends and I passed a man jogging - we were in a car - then he disappeared.  We went back to see if he was okay as we that he had tripped or slipped but couldn't find him.  We found out later that a jogger had been killed at that point at the same time we passed the spot a few years before.

i often get a tugging feeling on my right shoulder as if someones trying to get my attention, and sometimes i can smell my uncles pipe tobacco (st Bruno), also get this a lot dark shadows around the edge of my vision, fleeting movements in my periferalo vision, flashes of gold when i look at the sky, almost knocking me out on the floor, time lines and dates coinciding with shocking and hidden lies truth embedded to catch them out with accidents that have happen to me in the past.

people say churches are spooky, we go most Sundays and i find it the most peaceful  place ever even next to the grave yard.

Harmful intentions
particularly those involving deliberate acts exploitation, seem to cause longer-lasting and more painful emotional consequences than natural disasters. The crucial factor may be that such experiences destroys people’s trust in others, particularly if they involve someone you have depended on.

If you believe in that sort of thing your spirit guide is supposed to be at your right shoulder just out of sight, I often feel someone there but still not entirely convinced...

2 of us cannot be wrong  ;D, they say god works in mysterious ways, i truly believe that, something happened this week, it had me worried for a few days as thought i would be backed into a corner, but the answer came from the grave, and when i looked into it statements i made 2 years ago backed it up it fell into some sort or order, and for me i found the way out the truth, "when we first set out to deceive what a tangled web we weave"

the magpies tell me if i am right or wrong, nature works in harmony with a good heart.

I'm not a great believer in the paranormal, but I have started thinking seriously about religion over the past 6 months or so, really since my depression has come back with a vengance

However, I found this and thought I's share it with those who have and interest:
