Hello I am new to here

Hello all- Joined the forum some time ago but have only now been plucking up the courage to say hello. I was diagnosed with depression about six months ago and although after years of ruminating and knowing that I was unhappy, it still came as a big down moment. Since then I have been receiving medication and counselling which has helped me to undestand my bahavoiur and feelings and the root of my depression.  Given my lot I should be very content and to others (if they could see it) and myself my depression is difficult to understand.

Welcome Paul (good name), I'm more a reader than a poster. Looks like I'm not going to get to sleep tonight, so I'm reading stuff here to help and pass the time - starting to get anxious - but this place helps....I think  :-\

I am also new to this site and it took me a while to get myself registered and post my introduction... seems as though the people that use this site are a nice bunch of people and are prepared to listen and respond to comments and be helpful.

A warm welcome to you all, we all try to help each othe here even when we  "£", takes a lot of courage to enrol on here, but I think it helps too  :)
