I believe I may be annoyed.
« on: September 11, 2009, 05:22:06 AM »
I apologise in advance for this, as I believe I may be annoyed. LOL

I stopped taking my meds... not just my depression ones but every medicine I take. $^*
Here’s the thing. I knew it was gonna happen (not taking them) and I just didn’t stop it. I take the meds for months then Bam!
Funny thing is I don’t really want to stop, it just seems to happen. It starts with taking them late then missing a day them before I know it it’s been 3 weeks.
So now I feel kind of poopy and annoyed. &*( (I’m sorry if this turns in to a rant.) I have to go back to the doctors, (as I never renewed my prescription either) tell him I been a bad girl and start the process all over again.
I’m just fed up! I don’t want to rattle like a baby’s toy, the amount of tablets I end up taking.
Another reason… Well they just don’t blooming work!  _)(
I feel the same now as I did months ago years ago and so on…
Top it off; I stopped going to see a CBT person. (Load of blooming bloopers that was for me) I hated it.  >:(
What a load of old boots! "I can make you better in 6-8 weeks"   !???!  “my bum!”
I went for 4 weeks and all we did was talk over and over on what my starting point would be. (Banging my head against the wall might have been a better place to start.) OOooo! it just annoyed me going.
With the stupid leaflets I’ve been given a 1000’s of over the years. I know the blooming questions off by heart.
Another thing if I get one more blooming leaflet intended for mums or people with a family.  I’m gonna scream! Not everyone who is depressed is a parent or a grandparent.  (I in no way mean people with kids annoy me, or that they don’t get depressed.)  I just mean that I can’t put my self in that group. It doesn’t fit me. Therefore is inappropriate for me.
What I would give for a counsellor physiologist and so on… to have been trained in a different school from all the others.  As I think they all went to the same class and had the same flipping teacher. It’s like listening to a broken record.
I’ve been given the same breathing exercises since I was 10 years old and the advice hasn’t changed much either.
Meh! Don’t even know why I’m posting this really. I just did I guess. LOL /_(

Any way thanks for well... letting me ";kljerwwjlgh" all over tha page :)

(I hope no one takes anything personal. And no matter how I feel about the CBT or therapy of any sort. I will always try them. You never know one might just “click” and then id be… better off than I am now. )
I’m not depressed! The rest of the world is too blooming happy. ♥

Hey Kern for someone who may be annoyed you've come across as articulated and a bit frustrated.  Sounds like the meds you have had aren't doing the job they should be doing and your doctor should be keeping on top of this instead of leaving it to you all the time.
