Regular illness and depression
« on: May 17, 2011, 03:33:08 PM »
Hello folks,

Random topic (forgive me if anyone's been here before), but does anyone else find that they seem to take much longer than 'non-depressed' people to get over colds/flu etc? I'm onto my second heavy cold of the year and it seems to drag on and on. Because I'm so tired with it (and some depressive tiredness too) I must seem so utterly pathetic. I've had to leave work early today, and this is the 7th day of it. Annoyingly, once I'm home the symptoms of the cold seem to almost disappear. It's so weird. I want to be at work and getting on with stuff, but I can't seem to manage it.

Snuffly Ses over and out

Thanks :) I've been getting so paranoid that I've had blood tests, and of course they come up negative! It's good to know it's not just me, but I'm sorry to hear you've had a bad time of it too. x
