Hi, im new to this

Hi,

Im new to this forum so im not so sure of what to write.
Where to start, ive been suffering from depression for quite a few years now, although i wasnt diagnosed with major depression until i was 15 and it was then that i started my treatment. I took my medication and accepted help for about 6months, but then somebody convinced me that i didnt need the help so being an easily influenced teenager i stopped taking my medication and denied my condition. My doctor warned me that because of this, i would eventually relapse and when it happened i would be harder to treat, i just laughed it off.
He was right though, here i am 4 years down the line and im lost, im alone, ive lost everything including myself.
I dont have anybody to talk to about any of this so i decided to search for forums on the internet and i found this site, i guess im just hoping to seek support here.

I hope the forum helps you, people on here do listen and support and try to help. We've all struggled with depression and understand how you feel; say whatever you need to say.
I would also suggest going to your doctor and asking for help again now.

I agree with Bel in going to the doctors, you cant do this alone, this forum has been  a big help for me, i really hope it helps you too, let us know how your doing, keep posting, hugs, Ali
