lack of energy
« on: November 12, 2012, 04:54:53 PM »
This year has been the toughest & one of the things I have noticed is my lack of energy.  I haven't got the same amount I used to have and are faced with the possible exhaustion / burnout stage. If this ever going to change, I keep trying to do more but it's just not getting better :((

Hi bb,

Just checked through your previous posts to get the a fuller story  :P I understand you're on Vitamin B12 and do you have thyroid issues?  Obviously the depression is gonna affect your energy levels but those two are notorious for making you feel exhausted.  What's being done with regards medication for your health issues (including depression)?

What's going on there?  And have you tried any other antidepressants?  Citalopram seems to be the first-in-line one they try and doesn't seem to work with a lot of people I know.

What is your diet / water / alcohol intake like!?!?

As they say, rubbish in, rubbish out...

You need to fuel your body correctly to get the best out of it, I know it's hard sometimes, but a good, quality diet, lots of water and only a few alcoholic drinks can do wonders for your energy levels and overall health... especially during the bad times...

I find that I actually eat even better when I am down.... maybe because when I am happy, I'm out and about... but when I'm going through a darker period, I really try hard to make the diet as healthy as possible...

 ;)

My diet is fine & I hardly drink as it affects my energy the next day.
